Good choices include firm, clean fruits and durable vegetables.
Vegetables: Peas, rhubarb, beans, corn, tomatoes, potatoes, winter and summer squash, cucumbers, cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, carrots, onions, zucchini, eggplant and garlic.
Fruits: Blueberries, strawberries, apples, peaches, and melons.
In Springfield, please drop off your donations to Ozarks Food Harvest. In other communities, please consult your local yellow pages for a food pantry or check the pdf listing of Ozarks Food Harvest member agencies.
